Q&A Ring Radar and ETHJC show information

 

Q: Am I required to have a debit or credit card on file to submit an entry?

A: Yes, Ring Radar requires a card on file to register for a show

Q: Will my card be charged when I register for the show?

A: No, your card will not be charged until you check out or after the close of the show

Q: I don’t want to pay the 4% processing fee. Can I pay another way?

A: Yes, you can pay with a check or cash when you check out. If paying with cash, the exact payment is required – we do not have change.

Q: I am waiting on my coggins, am I required to upload it before registering for the show?

A: Uploading your coggins is preferable but not required to enter for the show. However, proof of up-to-date coggins is required to complete registration into the show and be on the property. Your back number will be held for outstanding coggins verification.

Q: Who is required to sign the Liability form?

A: The competitor (18 and above) or the legal guardian of the competitor is required to sign the liability form. Trainers cannot sign in lieu of a legal guardian. Your back number will be held for outstanding liability.

Q: Am I required to be a USHJA Member to register for the show?

A: No, you are not required to be a USHJA Member. If you are (or want to be a) member you are required to add a $5 fee onto your registration for your USHJA Outreach points to be submitted to USHJA.

Q: Are stallions allowed to show?

A: No, stallions are not allowed to show per venue rules.

Q: Can I add/scratch classes on show day?

A: Yes! You can add or scratch classes. This can be easily done at Ring Radar, the gate or in the office. The office will verify what classes you rode in prior to checkout.

Q: What is the cut off time to receive discounted class entry?

A: Early entry class price is $25 and will be allowed up until Tuesday (midnight) prior to show start date.  Entries received after Tuesday (midnight) will be automatically charged the regular class fee of $30 per class. 

Q: Will I be charged the regular class fee ($30) if I add classes on show day?

A: If the competitor registered for the show before the cutoff time, early entry class cost ($25) will be applied. If the competitor registered for the show AFTER the cutoff time The competitor will be charged regular class cost ($30).

Q: Can I bring my Dog to the show?

A: No, per venue rules dogs are not allowed on the property.

2026 is the year of the horse, and it brings fresh changes and excitement to ETHJC! Here’s everything you need to know:

Simplified Entries: All entries will now be processed through RingRadar.com. Payments can be made using debit/credit cards.

Payment Options: You must have a card on file (4% processing fee applies if used at the show) but you can also choose to use a check or exact cash during checkout.

Adds & Scratches

Flexibility: You can add or scratch entries right up until the class/division starts.

Convenience: Do this easily through Ring Radar or at the office.

USHJA Membership
Optional: USHJA Membership is not required.
Points Processing: If you want to become a member or have your points processed, a $5 fee will be added to your entry.

Coggins

Easy Upload: Coggins can be uploaded for processing before the show.

Day-of-Show Option: Showing your Coggins on the day of the show is acceptable.
Important Note: Horses without an up-to-date Coggins will not be allowed on the property.

Liability Forms

Mandatory: Liability forms must be completed and signed on Ring Radar.

No Number Without Form: Your number will be withheld until the signed liability form is received.

We will be providing information on how this program will offer Rider, Horse & Trainer points for additional year end awards and USHJA Events! Stay tuned for additional announcements regarding this amazing program!
